I’ve had so much fun decorating my porch for Halloween. The newest addition is the stacked pumpkins that I have been wanting to make for a year or two.
I finally collected enough fake plugin pumpkins. And I had so much fun with my youngest little helper putting this together. It turned out so cute.

I have a super easy project to share… a Halloween Wreath to hang on your front door or even inside your home. I think one of the easiest ways to add a little cheer to your front door or decorate for a holiday is hanging a wreath.
You can make it as simple or as lavish as you want. And you can use what you have laying around the house or go buy all new supplies.
Halloween Wreath
so here are the supplies you will need to get started:
old wire hanger or wreath wire ring
pliers and scissors
ribbon or fabric
tulle (optional)
burlap (optional)
Old wire hanger option: If you are using an old wire hanger you will definitely need the pliers. Unwind the wire and make it as straight as possible {cut off the twisted ends because they are really hard to get straight}. Once it’s straight then you can bend it into a circle, oval, or whatever shape you want your wreath to be and you can make it whatever size you want. {I like the 14 inch wreaths for the front door but I have made smaller ones for hanging inside, so it really depends on where you’re hanging it} make sure to bend the ends into tiny hooks so you can connect it without all of your ribbon or fabric falling off. Now you’re ready to start adding the ribbon or fabric.

Wire Wreath Ring option: If you choose to buy a ring then you don’t really need the pliers and its all ready to add the ribbon of fabric.
Ribbon option: Cut pieces of ribbon about 6 -7 inches long… then begin tying each piece on the wire ring.
Fabric option: Cut fabric into long strips {the strips can be anywhere from 1-4 inches wide} Then cut the strips into pieces 6-7 inches long… and begin tying the pieces onto the wire ring.
Tie as much ribbon or fabric on as you want. The more you tie on the fuller it gets. You can even mix the ribbon and fabric pieces. And add as many different colors as you like.
Our front porch is looking better and better each year! I really love how my wreath turned out! There are so many different options and it doesn’t have to be an expensive project. Most of the time I use what I have laying around.
This is a super easy project even for the little helpers…. more hands make lots of fun!
